Trust God Release Anxiety and Embrace Faith By Pastor Steven T. Morrow, Pleasant Hill M.B.C. of Kalamazoo

Trusting God in Your Struggles By Pastor Steven T. Morrow, Pleasant Hill M.B.C. of Kalamazoo Life often feels like a race—running from problems, people, and situations that threaten to overwhelm us. But no matter how fast or far we run, there comes a point when we hit the edge of a cliff, with nowhere else to turn. This is where our reasoning ends and faith begins. In moments like these, God calls us to stop trying to figure everything out on our own. Humility is the first step. We must recognize that we cannot do it all by ourselves. As the Word says, "Cast all your cares on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). But if we hold on to pride, thinking we can manage everything, our minds—and our hearts—will never truly change. The moment we step out in faith and trust God's Word, He meets us at the edge, ready to carry us through. Surrendering to Him is not a sign of weakness but of strength. Let go of your burdens today and trust that God has a plan beyond what you can see. Reflection: What are you holding on to that God is asking you to surrender? Are you still trying to figure everything out on your own? Take a moment to humble yourself and cast your cares upon Him, trusting that His plan is greater than yours.
